Services of search and rescue in the context of providing air traffic services

Abstract

Svrha istraživanja u sklopu završnog rada jest definirati Usluge potrage i spašavanja u okviru pružanja Usluga u zračnoj plovidbi. Objašnjenje organizacije, procesa i procedura na međunarodnoj razini kao i aplikaciju istih u zakone, procedure i prakse pružanja Usluga potrage i spašavanja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Cilj istraživanja je analiza i valorizacija sustava potrage i spašavanja na globalnoj kao i na razini Republike Hrvatske. Analiza će se provesti na temelju ustroja organizacije za potragu i spašavanje, uvjeta i odredbi određenih Međunarodnom agencijom za civilno zrakoplovstvo aneksom 12 (potraga i spašavanje), temeljne i specijalističke obuke timova za potragu i spašavanje, kao i cjelokupnog sustava te njegovih postojećim prednosti i mana. Rezultati istraživanja odnosit će se na analizu cjelokupnog sustava za potragu i spašavanje, procedura, metoda, obuka i unaprjeđenja sustava u svrhu povećanja stupnja profesionalnosti i obučenosti pripadnika organizacije za potragu i spašavanje unutar Republike Hrvatske.The purpose of the research as part of the final thesis is to define Search and Rescue services within the scope of air navigation service provision. Explanation of the organization, processes and procedures at the international level as well as application of them in the laws, procedures and practices of providing Search and Rescue Services in the Republic of Croatia. The aim of this research is to analyze and valorize the Search and Rescue system at the global level as well as at the level in Republic of Croatia. The analysis will be carried out on the basic of the organization of the Search and Rescue organization, conditions and provisions set out by the International Civil Aviation Organization in Annex 12 (Search and Rescue), basic and specialist training of Search and rescue teams, as well as the overall system and its existing advantages and disadvantages. The result of the research will cover the analysis of the entire Search and Rescue procedures, methods, training and improvement of the system in order to increase the degree of professionalism and training of members of Search and Rescue organization within the Republic of Croatia
