On the approximate solutions of the second basic elasticity theory problem

Abstract

We compare two methods of solution of the second basic problem of elasticity for cones and conoids. The first is FEM (Galerkinmethod) and the second is the spline-interpolation solution which is a 3D generalization of the Kolosov-Muskhelishvili method of solution of 2D problems. © 2010 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd
