In the nominative case plural the adjectives of a stem may have the inflexion -ūs (e. g. senūs "seni" (old). Sometimes the full formants -tei/-tie of the infinitive of the verbs are pronounced. In the imperative mood of the second person singular the inflexion -ai is used, and in plural – the inflexion -it (Daugavpils). In the border dialects of the Vilniškiai the locative is confused with illative.
