Los sistemas de comunicaciones móviles de 5ª Generación no serán desplegados hasta el año 2020, pero su desarrollo comenzó hace ya varios años. Múltiples avances tecnológicos serán necesarios para alcanzar los objetivos propuestos en esta nueva generación, especialmente en la capa física que dará soporte a los sistemas y, en ello, se centrará nuestro trabajo.
