“Sentra Kuliner di Mangkunegaran” (Pusat Penjualan Kuliner, Oleh-oleh, dan Wisata Kreatif)

Abstract

The number of tourists continues to decline in the Pura Mangkunegaran Cultural Heritage Area is something that cannot be allowed to continue to occur. This can be seen from the activities of the palace which is quite quiet. There are many things that affect the decline of tourists, one example is because the palace buildings began to experience damage. Damage to buildings at cultural heritage sites requires proper handling, for this reason, it is necessary to reconstruct and revitalize the palace so that it can adjust needs and keep up with changes in the present era. Along with the times and trends, 2018 is the year in which the creative industry brand flies its wings to various aspects of the economy, ranging from tourism, culinary, craft, technology, to e-commerce applications. By producing a variety of modern products that are in demand by the public, this trand can be combined with the potential that exists in the Mangkunegaran Temple in this case. There are 8 types of food served to tourists, namely lodoh pindang rice, fluffier rice, pondoh, jenang suran, sticky rice srikoyo, apem, pudding tape, and wedang secang, all of which are typical foods served by Mangkunegaran managers and are quite difficult to found in Solo City. This potential will be lifted and realized in the form of building design design by maximizing the existing culinary potential to provide an alternative design on the pamedan which is converted as parking space
