Combining magnetic resonance images

Abstract

\u3cp\u3eThe invention relates to a method of combining magnetic resonance (MR) images to form a combined image, to a device for implementing such a method, and to a computer program comprising instructions for performing such a method when the computer program is run on a computer. Large transitions in pixel values in such combined images could make visual interpretation of the combined image difficult. A method of combining MR images to form a combined image that is easier to interpret visually is therefore desirable. Accordingly, a method of forming a combined image is disclosed, wherein pixel intensity values of at least one of the images is modified based on an interpolation operation, and the two MR images are suitably merged to form a combined image.\u3c/p\u3
