El Relat dels anys passats (també conegut com a Crònica Primària) és el recull de fets històrics russos més antic que ens ha pervingut i, alhora, una font important per a la història primitiva dels eslaus orientals i llurs veïns. L'objectiu d'aquest article és elaborar un glossari d'etnònims de l'est d'Europa documentats en aquesta obra, recollint les hipòtesis més habituals sobre la seva etimologia i els paral·lels que en trobem en tradicions literàries coetànies.The Tale of Bygone Years (also known as Primary Chronicle) is the most ancient Russian chronicle extant, as well as an important source on the earliest history of the Eastern Slavs and their neighbours. The aim of this paper is the elaboration of a glossary of East European ethnonyms attested in this work, gathering the most usual hypotheses on their etymology and parallels in contemporary literary traditions
