El dativo singular atemático en las inscripciones en lineal B de Micenas

Abstract

The opinion of some scholars that there are dialectal differences on the Mycenaean tablets from Pylos and Knossos leads us to analyse the dossier from Mycenae of one of the proposed dialect features: the third declension dative ending. The ocurrence of the two endings of this case, -e and -i, is almost balanced at Mycenae, and the number of evidences is linguistically relevant for she wing a more evolved state of Greek language than that of Knossos and Pylos
