Observation of electroweak WZjj production at s=13\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Abstract

This poster presents the observation of electroweak WΒ±ZjjW^{\pm}Zjj (WZjj-EW) production, using 36.1 fbβˆ’1^{-1} of data collected with the ATLAS detector. The analysis focuses on the fully leptonic β„“β„“β„“Ξ½jj\ell\ell\ell\nu jj (β„“=e,ΞΌ\ell = e,\mu) final state, observed with a significance of 5.35.3 standard deviations. The analysis techniques and setup are explained, as well as the cross-section measurements for both WZjj and WZjj-EW
