Allereerst wil ik natuurlijk mijn promotor Prof. dr. Georges Hadziioannou
bedanken voor de mogelijkheid om in zijn onderzoeksgroep te promoveren.
Zijn enthousiaste aanpak, emotionele preken/aanmoedigingen en heftige
discussies ook over niet-wetenschappelijke zaken heb ik altijd zeer weten te

A special thanks to my Russian copilot Victor Krasnikov, and roommate at the

Mijn hoofdvakstudenten Lennart en Mathieu voor de vele emotionele (anti-)
