The main aim of this article is to show the motif of Christmas Eve in short stories written by Adam Grzymała-Siedlecki. I have not only used works connected with history of literature but I have also studies and included some philosophical, psychological, ethical and theological points of view. That is why I gained more interdisciplinary approach to the
subject. Adam Grzymała-Siedlecki in his novels showed stories of various people having
different society background which is easy to notice. Following the author’s ,,Christmas
scrips” we can create a unigue model based on celebrating Christmas Eve and some values typical of Polish people. Autor writings prove that the third vommandment is still
