The study of the interplay between international Humanitarian Law (IHL) and the International Refugee Law (IRL) becomes a classic for the doctrine and also for the institutions involved in this problematic. Above having lost validity along the years, it is an area that keeps highly topical, not in vain, the XXVII Round Table organised by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (San Remo, Italy), in cooperation with the International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC) dedicates again a monographic panel to this matter.
