Abstract

The context of this essay is a research done in Andalusia, as part of the official announcement of the 2004-2007 R&D National Plan to analyse the introduction of free software in the Andalusian ICT centres and its repercussions in the teaching-learning processes. This research is done in an educational reality that progressively has been consolidated in the whole country and also in all the developed countries in the world. This reality is the progressive implementation of technology in the classroom. Now, we will try and expose the context and the base of the research, its development and the most significant results
