The exact number of patients with TID around the world is unknown, but itseems that the annual prevalence is rising globally. One of the unique characteristics of TlDis its progressive nature and its impact on the lives of the children and their familyliving witha child with diabetes, the mothers of these children face numerous challenges and problems.Therefore, this study aimed to explain the life process of mothers with type I diabetesmellitus.Methods: This study was conducted using the grounded theory approach lri.2017 and 2018 inKerman province. The 26 participants were firstly selected in a purposefully and thentheoretically and with maximum variability in the field. The inclusion criteria for the motherswere: children with type 1 diabetes and at least one year has passed of child diabetesdiagnosis, children aged 7 to 14 years old, have records in the diabetes centers in Kerman, theability to understand and Speaking in Farsi and being physically and mentally fit. Data werecollected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed by Strauss and Corbin (1998) andhandled by MAXQDa (v.10.0) software.Findings:'Data analysis led to the emergence of the six main categories of "ups and downs ofdiagnosis of a child", "living in the strait of diabetes," "storms of life, opportunities orthreats," "supporting or destructive societies," "trying to The passing of a turbulent life "and"captivity or liberation from the storm of life "all were somewhat revolving around the centralcategory of' trying to find the lost life *. These findings showed that due to the cultural,economico social and religious context, customs and beliefs, and taking into account the healthsystem, laws, and macro policies of the countr;/, since falling in the maze path of their child'sidisease toward the outcomes of the living with diabetic child,in this path, what are theproblems and challenges that they faced, and what are their needs.IConclusion: The life process of mothers with a child with type 1 diabetes has undergonemany changes since the onset of biological changes, the confirmed disease diagnosis in thechild and the transfer of the caring role from the health team members to the mother and theseissues has faeed them with many challenges. The mothers for passing through turbulent life,so much effort and apply so many different strategies. The community as a context for thepresent study and interventive factors have different effects on thbir life processes. Deeperreviews the-hndings showed that in each of the mothersl life processes stages, there is a traceof attempts to find the lost life.
