Abstract
El propósito de este trabajo es documentar un tesoro de hacksilbers que se subastó en Classical Numismatic Group. Aunque se desconoce la procedencia exacta del conjunto monetal, creemos que hay seguridad de que su procedencia fuese la cuenca oriental del Mediterráneo, más concretamente el pasillo sirio-palestino. Además, por la moneda más moderna que se encuentra en el tesoro, la ocultación debió producirse a finales del siglo V a.C. Asimismo, su composición ofrece ciertas cuestiones, como la circulación monetaria del numerario ateniense, el tipo monetal mayoritario del tesoro.This paper aims to document a hacksilber hoard that was auctioned in the Classical Numismatic Group. Although the location of this set of coins is unknown, we think that its origin was surely the Eastern Mediterranean, specifically the Syrian-Palestinian corridor. Because of the latest coin found in the treasure, it was buried at the end of Fifth Century BC. Also, the composition of hoard raises some issues, such as the circulation of the Athenian coinage, its main coin type
