Education institution’s effort to improve their education quality in order to
produce high quality human resources and able to stand in the working area, can
be done by evaluating all of lecturing process in each semester. This is done based
on the consideration that all of process in a certain time has not been always
appropriate and optimal to be done continually and as the basis to the next
process. Now days, there are many students of university want to give their idea
about lecturing facility, starting from their lecturer, lecturer’s assistant, etc. In the
other hand until now, there is no facility for the students of university to express
their idea or evaluate their lecturing system. Improving lecturing quality needs an
application or information system in which students of university can give their
idea to improve the lecturing quality. The aim of final assignment is to make a
lecturing evaluation information system.
The method of data collecting used in arranging of this final assignment
were observation and documentation. The arranging used were database
arranging, program script, making program and process of program checking. The
application was developed using PHP, database was managed by MYSQL.
From the research the writer can conclude that lecturing evaluation
information system is a way to help the lecturing evaluation process. This system
developed on the basis of web uses My SQL database and PHP. Students of
university can access that information system in the end of the semester. To
access that information system they must be registered first. Then, they can access
and evaluating their lecturing system.
