The purpose of this study is to determine the level of development of local
government performance in Sukoharjo district in fiscal year 2006-2008. In
addition, to determine who carried out the policies of the Local Government
Sukoharjo district in order to optimize its performance in delivering public
services. And demonstrating accountability Dinas Pendapatan, Pengelolaan
Keuangan, dan Aset Daerah (DPPKAD) Sukoharjodistrict as Financial Manager
Sukoharjo district.
Step of this research was done by comparing the theory with the analysis
of financial performance Sukoharjo District Government budget year 2006 -2008
conducted by the researchers. Based on the Financial Statements Sukoharjo
especially the performance report prepared by DPPKAD Sukoharjo district. In
order to examine how far the level of performance during the Sukoharjo district.
The results of this study is DPPKAD Sukoharjo district has implemented
policies in accordance with applicable regulations and has reached 100% of the
agreed budget. This is evident from the policies that have been taken in the
revenues, expenditures and financing of the region during 2006 -2008. Because it
has a positive impact negatively on the level of orderliness and financial
administration, facilities and personnel infrastructure that continues to increase,
the level of Resource Officers, and the level of public services in Sukoharjo
district.
The conclusion of this research is DPPKAD Sukoharjo district has
implemented policies well in the revenue, expenditure, and financing areas,
although there are still some policies that have not been realized properly. So
DPPKAD Sukoharjo district should be able to improve its performance in the
future. In order to achieve transparency and accountability in financial
management as Sukoharjo district.
Based on the results of the study, researchers gave some suggestions on
DPPKAD Sukoharjo district to explore other sources of income that could
increase local income and manage existing sources of revenue. In addition
DPPKAD Sukoharjo district must conduct a review of local shopping. Apparatus
Resources Improvements should also be done in order to be able to provide the
best service to the community Sukoharjo
