PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN ELEKTROLISER AIR
DAN PEMANASAN BAHAN BAKAR BENSIN MELALUI PIPA KAPILER
BERSIRIP RADIAL DI DALAM UPPER TANK RADIATOR
TERHADAP EMISI GAS BUANG CO DAN HC
PADA MESIN TOYOTA KIJANG
The result of this research shows that the usage of water electrolizer and
the fuel heating use 3 finned copper tubes in the upper tank of radiator can reduce
the highest level of exhaust emission. On the normal condition, Toyota Kijang has
2.981% CO exhaust emission and 192.667 ppm HC. In the usage of water
electrolizer can reduce the highest level on exhaust emissions of CO and HC in
the engine of Toyota Kijang. The different of CO exhaust emission is 0,84 %
volume or 28 % while the HC exhaust emission is 24,334 ppm volume or 13 %. In
the usage of fuel heating use 3 finned copper tubes in the upper tank of radiator
can reduce the highest level on exhaust emissions of CO and HC in the engine of
Toyota Kijang. The different of CO exhaust emission is 2,54 % volume or 85 %
while the HC exhaust emission is 139,667 ppm volume or 72 %. In the usage of
water electrolizer and the fuel heating use 3 finned copper tubes in the upper tank
of radiator can reduce the highest level of exhaust emissions of CO and HC in the
engine of Toyota Kijang. The different of CO exhaust emission is 2,648 %
volume or 89 % while the HC exhaust emission is 140 ppm volume or 73 %. The
conclusion of this research is the usage of water electrolizer and fuel heating using
three copper tubes with the range between the fins is 10 mm in the upper tank of
radiator can reduce the highest exhaust emission on the machine of Toyota kijang
1989.
