Visualisasi Gerakan Fluida 3 Dimensi Menggunakan Metode Lattice Boltzmann

Abstract

Computational Fluid Dynamics has gone through many phases since Navier-Stokes equation. Many other methods, specially non-continuous one, developed rapidly. Lattice Boltzmann,one of the methods mentioned above, was implemented in many cases because it's discrete and able to keep some of simulation parts such as density, velocity and pressure. Lattice Boltzmann method fits in a computer's program to count water movement. The values of velocity and density are well extracted from simulation. Fluids movement is visible from the result of program's visualization process. The visualization quality is adjustable to compensate machine's computational limitation. In tests, the program able to create a frame of visualization ranged from 10 to 50 minutes depending on the complexity of simulation's properties. The course design greatly affects system's performance. Complexity and size of it are directly proportional with computational time. The more complex and larger course design will take more time to compute
