Висвітлено історію православної церкви у регіоні. Показано політику місцевої влади до православної церкви. Проаналізовано соціально-демографічний статус священнослужителів, фінансово-господарську діяльність православних парафій, міжконфесійні зв’язки, історію храмів. Крім того, досліджено релігійну обрядовість населення, а також форми протесту на захист православної церкви.
In the article it is revealed the history of the Orthodox Church in a region. It is shown the policy of local power concerning the Orthodox Church. It is also analyzed the social and demographic status of priests, financial and economic activity of Orthodox parishes, interdenominational ties, and history of temples. In addition, it is studied the religious ritualism of population, as well as the forms of remonstrance expressed in order to protect the Orthodox Church
