Opinnäytetyö oli toiminnallinen kehittämistyö, jonka tavoitteena oli luoda osallistava, esteetön ja ilmainen harrastus lapsille ja vanhemmille. Tuotoksena syntyi lapsille ja vanhemmille tarkoitettu kerho. Toiminnan lähtökohtana oli lapsi- ja perhelähtöisyys. Toimeksiantajana oli Kuopion Perheentalo. Tarkoituksena oli tukea vanhemman ja lapsen välistä varhaista vuorovaikutusta. Toiminta toteutettiin matalan kynnyksen palveluna ja toiminnassa osallistettiin lapset ja vanhemmat mukaan toiminnan suunnitteluun, toteutukseen ja arviointiin. Jokaiselle toimintakerralle tehtiin pedagoginen suunnitelma.
Kerhon kohderyhmänä olivat 5-vuotiaat lapset ja heidän vanhempansa. Kerhoa pidettiin kuusi kertaa syys-marraskuun aikana Kuopion Perheentalon tiloissa. Lisäksi toteutettiin kerhon taidenäyttely, joka oli rakennettu kerhossa tehdyistä taideteoksista. Ohjausmenetelminä käytettiin luovia ja vuorovaikutusta tukevia menetelmiä.
Lopuksi kerättiin palautetta toimeksiantajalta ja kerhoon osallistuneilta perheiltä jatkokehitysideoita varten. Palaute kerhosta oli positiivista, sillä perheet kokivat toiminnan mielekkääksi ja he odottivat aina uutta kerhokertaa. Perheet kokivat kerhon voimaannuttavana. Kerhotoiminnan jatkokehityksen kannalta tulee kiinnittää huomio toiminnan ajankohtaan, osallistumisen avoimuuteen ja toiminnan näkyväksi tekemiseen.
Opinnäytetyön lopputuotoksena kehitettiin blogi, jonka tarkoitus on olla pedagoginen dokumentti kerhosta. Blogi jää toimeksiantajalle toiminnan esittelyyn ja näkyvyyden lisäämiseen. Siihen on kuvattu jokainen kerhokerta ja eri työmenetelmät. Valokuvauksessa huomioitiin eettisyys, jotta osallistujat pysyivät anonyymeinä.This thesis was a development work and the purpose was to develop a free hobby for children in which parents and children could participate together. The main points were accessibility, inclusion and development of activities where parents and children could do things together and get support in early interaction. Activities were designed in a way that they were open for everyone and anyone could join in and take part, even if children had special needs. The client was Kuopion Perheentalo (Kuopio Family House). The purpose of this thesis was to support family interaction. Families also participated in planning, implementation and evaluation processes concerning the club. Each club meeting also had a pedagogical plan, which was done beforehand.
The target group for this thesis was 5-year-old children and their parents. The club was arranged six times between September and November in 2017. All the club meetings took place at Perheentalo. An art exhibition about all the arts made during this club was also organized. The idea was to include methods for supporting interaction and creativity.
At the end, feedback was collected from Perheentalo and families in order to obtain information about future de-velopment ideas. Feedback was positive. Families felt that activities were appropriate and meaningful and they were looking forward to the next club meeting. Families also felt that the club activities were empowering. For further development, attention should be paid to the club timetable, open environment and accessibility to attendance and customer awareness.
As an end result of the thesis work a blog was created, as a method for pedagogical documentation. Perheentalo is able to use this blog in order to reach new potential families and increase visibility. Each time during the club pictures were taken and those pictures have been inserted to the blog without risking the identity of the participants
