Televisi Swasta Jawa Timur dan Kuantitas Program Bermuatan Lokal :Studi Kasus Televisi Lokal di Surabaya

Abstract

From AGB Nielsen research, it is known that only 11 percent of Surabaya’s viewer who watched local television. It is then complained by the local televisions managements that those quantitative research made them difficult to attract the advertisers. From these research, only 3 local television which are Arek TV, BCTV and MHYV actually had produced their own local programmes. The others, MNTV, SCTV, RCTI and TV ONE have not yet produce the same programs. It is argued that to produce such program takes lots of financial funding
