THE AUDIENCE’S ATTITUDE TOWARD THE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR IN A PROGRAM OF PENGHUNI TERAKHIR (The Descriptive Study Of Surabaya Society Toward The Aggressive Behavior In a Program Of Penghuni Terakhir On Television)

Abstract

The research which is set by the most of criticizes from the society and the evaluation of the Indonesian broadcasting committee told that the program of penghuni terakhir could make a worry to the society because there are several substances of aggressive behavior neither physically and verbally, either direct or indirect. This research has a purpose to know how far the behavior of Surabaya society toward the aggressive behavior in a show program of penghuni terakhir. The theory that has been used consists of the attitude theory, aggressive behavior, and also S-O-R theory, the stimulate of aggressive behavior presentation in a program of penghuni terakhir, the respond organism is Surabaya attitude. The research methodology has been used is the survey method with the descriptive type analysis. The data collected technique in this research use a questioner with the sample which is obtained by using cluster method which there are so many steps (Multistage Cluster Random Sampling) with analysis method that used frequent distribution. The result of the research has shown that the Surabaya society attitude to the cognitive aspect has shown neutral attitude, the affective aspect has shown neutral attitude, the cognitive has shown neutral attitude, the entirely of Surabaya society attitude have shown neutral attitude which has agreement with the program of penghuni terakhir although they don’t like with the aggressive behavior which has been showed by the program of penghuni terakhir.
