Recalculation of levelling network of hydroelectric power plant formn between the years 2004 and 2012

Abstract

In agreement with the regulations in force, the Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) Formin performs two land surveying measurements per year. The objective is to determine the stability of the facility. Considering the unusual altitudinal changes in the intake channel of the HPP Formin, this thesis reveals the data of controlling the stability of the first benchmark R1 on a house in the vicinity of the hydroelectric power plant. On the basis of the controls, a complete calculation of all measured heights of all measured pillars, controlling points and benchmarks between 2004 and 2012 had been done. All measurements and data processing closely follow the recommendations for geotechnical measuring and thus the highest standards in land surveying are met. A statistical analysis had been done and on its basis we determined the stability of referential pillars and vertical movements on controlling points and benchmarks. All results are adequately interpreted and illustrated with graphs and tables. I conclude the thesis with recommendations for future land surveys at the Hydroelectric Power Plant Formin
