The aim of this thesis is to compare the data on traffic accidents between police and health satistical database.\ud

Police database on road accidents condains details of those accidents, which we inspected the venue and there was record of the accident. It is estimated that the number of accidents increased, it is not present in all the police and the minutes do not lead, therefore, not recorded in police database.\ud

For traffic accidents, in which the damage was done to the participant and seek treatment or die in road accidents, we compare the data with police and health to estabilish a more complete picture of road safety and get to know a way of keeping data in either database.\ud

The ultimate goal is to determine whether the data of both databases give a more realistic picture of the injuries in the Slovenian road.\u
