The present work focuses on creating tourist map of Mislinja valey, from basic idea to final product. In the introduction the choosen area is discussed. Description of all used data follows in the middle part with theoretical explanation of cartographic modelling; from cartographic signs making to cartographic generalization. In the last part the technical aspect of making maps is described and discussed
