The present work focuses on Stream Visual Assessment Protocol (SVAP). In first part is\ud
presented a theory background of the protocol. River morphology, hydrologic and\ud
morphological processes and ecological structure of river corridor are described in the article.\ud
In continuation of the work there is a review of SVAP method. Description of 15 SVAP\ud
characteristics, procedure of usage and protocol worksheet are demonstrated in the paper. In\ud
the last part of the article there is an example of SVAP aplication on the corridor of Dragonja\ud
river. Twelve test assessment reaches were ecomorphological evalueted. The results of\ud
aplication are compered with results of sinthesis method, I.F.F. (Indice di Funzionalità\ud
Fluviale), and German GSGB (Gewässerstrukturgütebewertung) method. In conclusion of the\ud
present work, there are some preposals for modification SVAP
