The presented work focuses on residential market in the EU, especially on EU's capital cities. The goal of this work is to determine in which capital it is the most profitable for a hypothetical long-term investor to buy an apartment and than resell it over the period of five years. The work is devided in two parts. First part describes the characteristics of real estate markets and the second calculates hypothetical investor's profit with different models
