During this study, 25 specimen of Vimba vimba were collected from southern Caspian Sea in spring after biometrical measurements, samples were transferred to laboratory for further pathological examinations. Observations of their intestines showed that 15 specimen (60% of total) were infected by Asymphylodora kubanicum. The intensity of infection was seven.
