Fractures can arise pain or pain, swelling and tenderness in body shape. Various actions are performed in the management of pain covering pharmacological and non-pharmacological actions. Non-pharmacological measures are the most important interventions in some cases of mild pain. While pharmacological action to anticipate excessive pain. of this study was to determine whether the influence of lavender aromatherapy and finger grip on the pain intensity of post operative patient fracture in RS. Orthopedics Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta. type was pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group design. The sample was 30 samples divided into two groups, 15 respondents as the experimental group and 15 control group respondents. This research was conducted at the Hospital. Orthopedics Surakarta. The data were collected using Numeric Ratting Scale (NRS), while data analysis used Independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test. of the study were the influence of lavender aromatherapy and hand-held fingers on the decrease in pain intensity of postoperative fracture patients at Hospital. Orthopedic Surakarta test results independent sample t-test was pre-test control group and experiment of tcount 0,354 (p-value = 0,726). And post-test of control group and experiment group of tcount equal to -2,319 (p-value = 0,028). Administration of aromatherapy and hand-finger in post operative fracture patient was shown with the result of paired sample t-test of pre-test and post-test of experimental group obtained tcount of -3.879 (p-value = 0.001) and paired sample t-test of pain pre-test and post-test control group obtained tcount of -3,575 (p-value =0.001)
