This research aims to: 1) Describe the characteristics of nationalism in the abstract
of SMP Negeri 3 Sawit students, 2) Describe the procession of the ceremony on
Monday in SMP Negeri 3 Sawit, 3) Describe the form of values of education in
ceremonial activities on Monday in SMP Negeri 3 Sawit. The type of research
used is qualitative research. This research design uses qualitative naturalistic
research. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation,
and documentation. Data analysis techniques use interactive data analysis model
Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The characteristics
of nationalism among students implanted in ceremonial activities on Monday.
Students attend the ceremony on Monday with great wisdom and obey the order
in school. Students are always united, the attitude of unity can be reflected in the
line when the flag ceremony was held Monday. Students line up according to their
class. The attitude of nationalism that is reflected in accordance with their role as
junior high school students. Attitudes can be seen in the various behaviors of
students in ceremonial activities on Monday. These attitudes are respect for
teachers, fallen heroes, and the existing school order. 2) The procession of the
ceremony on Monday is carried out in accordance with the stages previously
determined. The process of performing the ceremony on Monday is carried out
with stages such as respect for the flag, listening to the reading of the Preamble of
the 1945 Constitution, the reading of Pancasila, a moment of silence, and the
commission's mandate. 3) The forms of nationalistic values contained in a series
of ceremonial processions on Monday can be shortened to: reflect the form of the
love behavior of the homeland, Respect heroes, reflect order, foster discipline,
cultivate mutual respect and respect, cultivate a sense of cohesion and
cooperation, appreciate the services of the hero
