Ispitati učinak apoptoze na staničnim linijama karcinoma dojke MDA-MB-231, mokraćnog mjehura T24 i glioblastoma A1235. Pretpostavka je da će se nakon izlaganja karcinomskih staničnih linija oleuropeinom smanjiti stupanj preživljavanja stanica. Učinak oleuropeina na stanične linije karcinoma dojke MDA-MB-231, mokraćnog mjehura T24 i glioblastoma A1235 praćen je protočnom citometrijom. In vitro izlaganje stanica karcinoma dojke MDA-MB-231, mokraćnog mjehura T24 i glioblastoma A1235 ekstraktom oleuropeina dovelo je do smanjenja preživljavanja ispitivanih stanica karcinoma. Stupanj apoptoze kod karcinoma stanica dojke MDA-MB-231 nije proporcionalno s koncentracijom oleuropeina. Stupanj apoptoze kod karcinoma stanica glioblastoma A1235 proporcionalno je s koncentracijom oleuropeina. Najveći stupanj apoptoze uočen je na stanicama glioblastoma A1235 pri koncentraciji oleuropeina 0,5 µM. Najmanji stupanj apoptoze uočen je na stanicama mokraćnog mjehura T-24 pri koncentraciji oleuropeina 0,1 µM. Potrebna su dodatna istraživanja kako bi se utvrdili točni mehanizmi učinka oleuropeina na karcinomske stanice.The effect of oleuropein on apoptosis of breast cancer cell lines MDA-MB-231, bladder cancer T-24 and glioblastoma A1235. The assumption is that exposure to carcinoma cell line with oleuropein reduces the survival of cells. The effects of oleuropeina on breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231, bladder cancer T-24 and glioblastoma A-1235 cell lines were estimated by the flow cytometry. In vitro exposure of MDA-MB-231, T24 and A1235 cells to oleuropein decreased a survival of cancer cells. The degree of apoptosis in MDA-MB-231 cells is not in proportion with the concentration of oleuropein. The degree of apoptosis in A1235 cells is in proportion with the concentration of oleuropein. The highest effect of oleuropein was found in A1235 cells treated with 0.5 µM oleuropein. In the other hand, the minimum degree of apoptosis was observed in T24 cell treated by oleuropein at the concentration of 0.1 µM. To summarize this, additional research is required to elucidate a precise mechanism of oleuropein effects on cancer cells
