Abstract
China is the most populous country in the world and the third largest in
terms of territory. It also has the second most productive economy after the USA. The
country is governed by the Communist Party of China. However, Chinese nationalists
have formed a separate government in Taiwan, where they declared independence.
That state faces the problems of human rights abuse and overpopulation. The People’s
Republic of China (PRC) borders fourteen countries and is a permanent member
of the UN Security Council; it also has atomic power. This article further discusses the
current condition of the PRC’s armed force
