Sawdust waste made briquettes as an alternative fuel that is more economical and easily available in the community. This study studied the effect of sago flour adhesive on the characteristics of sawdust briquette as measured by moisture content, volatile matter content, ash content, fixed bed content and calorific value. The greater the amount of adhesive the less heat obtained and the addition of a small adhesive the calorific value obtained more and more, this is because the sago flour can form a gel. And the highest heat value of 5093.04 cal / gr on the ratio of sawdust with adhesive of 90: 10%
