Analysis of discourse has the most complete and at the same hierarchical arrangement of mutual grammatical sustainable and have a real beginning and end, so it can be delivered either orally or in writing. Discourse text traffic signs presented by all the traffic units throughout Raya Solo is not much use words that were previously known that the discourse consists of a row sentences. You mean the writing of text traffic signs is to make the reader better understand the contents of the content of the text. This study aimed to describe the form of text discourse on traffic signs along public roads Solo Raya. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The object of this study, namely text traffic signs installed on the shoulder of a public road along the Solo Raya. Based on the analysis of this study found 28 data, which consists of signs command, warning signs, indicator signs, and signs the recommendation. Overall the data is analyzed using a text meanings, contexts (inside and outside the text, as well as the context of the knowledge which consists of the physical context, linguistic context, context epistemic and social context
