Abstract

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease characterized by the loss of joint cartilage slowly. OA usually attacks the joints that support the weight as in the knees, pelvis, spine, and legs.Knowing the benefits of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Infra Red (IR), and Exercise Therapy in the case of Osteorthritis Knee Sinistra. After therapy 6 times, there is decrease of silent pain from T1 = 1,8 to T6 = 1,3. The decrease of tenderness fromT1 = 3,4 to T6 = 2,5. The decrease of motion pain from T1 = 3,7 to T6 = 3,1. An increase in the range of motion joints (LGS) from T1 = S 5º-0º-110º becomes T6 = S 10º-0º-113º in active movement. T1 = S 5º-0º-112º becomes T6 = S 6º-0º-115º in passive movement. Increased flexor muscle group strength from T1 = 3 to T6 = 4 and extensor muscle group increase from T1 = 3 to T6 = 4.Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Infra Red (IR), and Exercise Therapy in Osteoarthritis Knee Sinistra can decrease pain, increase joint motion (ROM), and increase muscle strength
