Introduction: Urinary tract infection is a disease with rising annual incidence is still quite high, especially in women. This is because the ureter women are short and close to the genitalia and anus, another factor influencing that knowledge of poor personal hygiene. Knowledge of poor personal hygiene is usually experienced by teenagers, because parents and the community are still reluctant to discuss or provide information to adolescents in relation to personal hygiene, especially in the area of genitalia. Research purposes: This study aimed to investigate the relationship knowledge of personal hygiene with the symptoms of urinary tract infections in adolescent girl. Research Metods: The study is quantitative analytical survey, the method used is cross sectional. Samples are 92 students who obtained by stratified random sampling technique. Collecting data using questionnaires and analyzed using chi square test. Conclution: Based on the analysis result, it can be concluded: 1) The respondent characteristic is mostly 17 years old as many as 40 respondents (43.5%), 2) Distribution of personal hygiene knowledge with the highest frequency is not good ie 48 respondents (52.2%), 3) Distribution of respondents who experienced symptoms of urinary tract infection were as many as 51 respondents (55.4%), 4) There was a significant relationship between personal hygiene knowledge with the occurrence of symptoms of urinary tract infections, obtained p-value test 0,013 and POR value 3.1
