Pengaruh Pemberian Asi Eksklusif Dan Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua Terhadap Perkembangan Bicara Dan Bahasa Pada Anak Usia 3-5 Tahun Di Kelurahan Makam Haji Kecamatan Kartasura Kabupaten Sukoharjo
Some data indicate the incidence of children with speech delay is quite high. Communication disorders and cognitive impairment are part of a child development disorders, occuring in about 8%. Children’s who have delays in language skills can be influenced by several things such as the parent’s economic level, environment, parental education, parenting, nutritional status, and parental knowledge. One of the effort to improve development is giving exclusive breastfeeding. This study can provide information on whether exclusive breastfeeding and parental education can affect speech and language development in children aged 3-5 years The observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 3-5 years old children in the work area of Makam Haji Health Centre, Kartasura Subdistrict, Sukoharjo District by Purposive Sampling Technique. Hypothesis test result with Chi-Square test on exclusive breastfeeding with speech and langage development shows significance of 0,001, it can be interpreted that there is effect of exclusive breastfeeding to speech and language development and hypothesis test result with Fisher’s Exact Test on the level of parental education with speech and langage development shows significance of 0,508, it can be interpreted that there is no effect of exclusive breastfeeding to speech and language development
