Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi pada Kasus Post Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) Fraktur Radius 1/3 Distal Dekstra Di RSAL Dr. Ramelan Surabaya

Abstract

Background: The fracture of 1/3 distal radius of the right hand is the disconnection of the right third and right distal bone radius caused by direct and indirect trauma characterized by pain, swelling, deformity, malfunction, shortening, and crepitation. Method: The method used is the provision of infra red and exercise therapy are evaluated using VDS for pain, Goneometer for LGS, and MMT for muscle strength. 2 Objective: to determine the benefits of Infra Red (IR) and Exercise Therapy in case Post Fracture 1/3 Distal Dextra Radius. Result: after 6th therapy, the result of pain reduction, with VDS from FT0 to FT6 can be seen, the silent pain from FT0 to FT6 is same 1, whereas the tenderness from FT0 4 to FT6 becomes 2, motion pain from FT0 5 FT6 to 3. LGS with Goneometer increased flexion from FT0 30° to FT6 55°, extension from FT0 65° to FT6 75°, ulnar deviation from FT0 15° to FT6 35°, the result of radial deviation from FT0 to FT6 is same 20°, pronation from FT0 55° to FT6 75°, supination from FT0 60° to FT6 80°. For muscle strength measurement using MMT increased in wrist flexor, extensor, ulnar deviation, radial deviation, pronation, and supination from FT0 3 to FT6 4. Conclusion: Infra Red (IR) and Exercise Therapy modality can reduce pain, increase joint motion (LGS) and strength wrist muscles
