The loom weights stored at the museum are of unknown origin. The study aims to examine this class of artifacts with regard to their function, dating and, if possible, the area of provenance. On the other hand it aims to relocate these artifacts in the history of the museum. The museum collections have been partly acquired from previous collections and partly came from excavations held in our region in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, by the Institute of Archaeology of the University of Padua as the Director was charged of them
