The Infectious Diseases Institute provides the organizational framework that brings diverse disciplines, centers and programs together in ways that can uniquely contribute to the control of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. This multidisciplinary approach to infectious disease research serves to stimulate innovations, accelerate research progress and expedite transition of results into real applications
