Conflicts between productive and social uses of forest: A study of the effects of recreation on timber production in a recreational area of Spain

Abstract

This paper deals with the importance of obtaining information about the impact of recreational use has on the forestry production. This is necessary for the formulation of management objectives in multiple-use forests. The effects of recreational use on growth in terms of height and diameter of a Pinus sylvestris stand are described
