HUBUNGAN ANTARA MOTIVASI EKSTRINSIK DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR STENOGRAFI PADA SISWA SMKN 14 JAKARTA PUSAT

Abstract

ABSTRACT ATIKAH. Correlation Between Extrinsic Motivation with Stenografi Achievement of Students State Vocational High School 14 Central Jakarta. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, December, 2011. The Purpose of this research is to know the correlations between Extrinsic Motivation with Achievement of Student Vocational High Schools at Central Jakarta. This research have been done for 6 months since July until December 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlational approach, while the data is got from instrument and secunder data. The populations research was all of XI students with total 285, while the research of populations were XI administration office students with total 76, with 62 students for sampling. Variable data Y (Achievement) is secunder data from average of daily test. Collecting X variable data (Extrinsic Motivation) used likert scale, before that it had construct validity test by validation process, that was correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Extrinsic Motivation) was 0,802. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 26,34 + 0,631X. After that, data normality test by using Lilliefors formula and the result was L = 0,079 in significance level 0,05 and L table = 0,113. so L count F table table (4,00), showing that regression was significance. While regression linearity test, F count (1,89), showing that regression was linear. The result of product moment of correlations coefficient test was r xy = 0,584 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result was, t (1,67) and so t count > t table count . It means that there were significance and positive correlations between Extrinsic Motivation and Achievement. Beside that, the result of determination coefficient test was 34,11%, it means that Achievement variable determined by 34,11% Extrinsic Motivation variable. The conclusion of the research has shown that there was a positive correlations between Extrinsic Motivation with Achievement of Students State Vocational High Schools 14 Central Jakarta
