Aquest article tracta del sincretisme que presenta el català a les persones 1a i 2a del plural del
present del mode indicatiu respecte a les corresponents del present de subjuntiu i a les de l'imperatiu.
Algunes varietats lingüístiques eviten en alguns casos la coincidència formal indicada; en
relació amb aquest punt, ens centrem en una característica localitzada a la Cerdanya que consisteix
a utilitzar l'oposició fonològica /E/ ~ /e/ per distingir les persones verbals assenyalades corresponents
als modes indicatiu i subjuntiu respectivament.
La característica es troba també en una zona àmplia de l'occità, on el model adopta diferents
variants. Malgrat que la manifestació de la característica a la Cerdanya no coincideix completament
amb la de cap de les variants de l'occità esmentades, sembla possible argumentar que l'origen
de la característica en ambdues llengües és comú.This article deals with the syncretism found in Catalan in the first and second person plural of
the present indicative in relation to the corresponding forms of the present subjunctive and those
of the imperative as well. In certain cases, some linguistic varieties avoid this coincidence of form.
To analize this point, II we focus on a particular feature of the speech of Cerdanya, which consists in
using the phonological opposition /E@/ ~ /é/ to differentiate the verb forms corresponding to the
indicative and subjunctive moods.
This feature is also present in a wide swathe of Occitan territory, where different variants are used.
In spite of the fact that the forms in Cerdanya do not coincide exactly with any of the variants found
in Occitan, it seems possible to argue that the feature found in the two languages is of common origin
