Under the vision that the ALFIN should be part of the proposal of services of all libraries, and as part of the activities of the research team Users of Information, a research project is proposed that aims to make an empirical diagnosis about the perception that the library staff has about their training and competence in Information Literacy (ALFIN) and about how they conceptualize the ALFIN for themselves and for their work performance. Data will be collected from a qualitative questionnaire and in-depth interviews, which will be implemented in the framework of training instances in ALFIN, applying the questionnaire before the start of the training and at the end of the same, to make a comparison and evaluation of the acquired concepts, the results will be analyzed in order to observe what is the state of the question and what are the formative actions that could be planned at a formal level, within the study plans or postgraduate courses, or within the instances of non-formal training and development
