Several medical andnon-medical interventions have been suggested so far but there is no widely accepted treatmentSince gabapentin has been recently applied in decreasing nausea and vomiting, we conductedthis sfudy in order to compare the effect of gabapentin and ondansetron on treatment of nauseaand vomiting amongst pregnant women referring to Afzalipour Hospital, Kerman.Methods: In this double blind Randomized Control Trial, seventy pregnant women with nauseaand vomiting were recruited and randomly divided into two groups of gabapentin andondansetron. The participants were asked about nausea duration, and the frequency of vomitingand vomiting reflux on days one (before intervention), seven, fourteen and twenty-one (afterintervention). Data was collected using a researcher made form.Results: According to the findings of this study, there was no significant difference between theparticipants in the two groups of ondansetron and gabapentin regarding age, gestational age andparlty (P value>0.6).
