Business people are in need of financial statements resulting from thewhole recording of financial transactions that occurred in his company to be used as basis fordecision making . In reality there are many companies that use manual or Otomation Office(Microsoft Excel , hereinafter referred Ms.Excel) in the process of accounting records andfinancial statements. Accounting records and financial statements are prepared by hand orusing Ms. Excel still has some drawbacks. With the above reasons , the current will be createdan accounting application that can overcome some of the weaknesses in the manual system.With this accounting application accounting records and financial statements to be moreeffective and efficient .

Abstrak: Akuntansi merupakan ujung tombak bagi sebuah perusahaan di bidang keuanganbaik bagi instansi pemerintah maupun swasta. Para pelaku bisnis sangat memerlukan laporankeuangan yang dihasilkan dari seluruh pencatatan transaksi keuangan yang terjadi diperusahannya untuk dijadikan dasar pengambilan keputusan. Pada kenyataannya masihbanyak perusahaan yang menggunakan cara manual atau Office Otomation (Microsoft Excel, selanjutnya disebut MS.Excel) dalam proses pencatatan akuntansi dan laporan keuangannya.Pencatatan akuntansi dan laporan keuangan yang dibuat dengan cara manual ataumenggunakan Ms. Excel masih memiliki beberapa kelemahan. Dengan alasan diatas makasaat ini akan dibuat sebuah aplikasi akuntansi yang dapat mengatasi beberapa kelemahanyang ada pada sistem manual tersebut. Dengan aplikasi akuntansi ini pencatatan akuntansi danlaporan keuangan menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.
