PENGELOLAAN PENILAIAN KINERJA GURU DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 4 SURAKARTA

Abstract

This research aims to know the: (1) performance assessment planning teacher in SMK 4 Muhammadiyah Surakarta. (2) implementation of teacher performance assessment in SMK 4 Muhammadiyah Surakarta, and (3) evaluation of teacher performance assessment in SMK 4 Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research with a single case study approach and descriptive methods. Engineering data collection using the documentation, interviews and observations. Data analysis was done by organizing the data, menjabarkannya into the units, do the synthesis, compiling into a pattern, choose which are important and which will be studied, and make conclusions which can be told to others. There are three phases in data analysis, namely data reduction, the presentation of data, and verification. Research results concluded that: (1) Planning in improving the performance of the teacher in SMK 4 Muhammadiyah Surakarta: planning is carried out in the form of meetings of teachers and recruitment of teachers. The meeting was conducted together with the teachers and educational personnel in an effort to increase the performance of teachers. Honorary teacher personnel recruitment is done to meet the needs of educators, by setting minimum requirements for Bachelor degree, (2) the implementation include: preparing for the assignment of teachers according to needs, doing the duty of teachers, as well as preparing the organizational structure of the school, all of which aim to guarantee the performance of teachers, (3) Evaluation: performed as a form of coaching for performance, but on the implementation of the performance appraisal of teachers not yet correspond to predefined standard
