Audiovisual documents and their preservation.
The paper contains an analysis of the preservation of audiovisual documents produced by the media. Although there is nothing as omnipresent in our Information Society as the audiovisual media, the products that it creates are fleeting. This situation has previously been noted by UNESCO and in its 1980 General Conference it approved a number of recommendations for the safekeeping and preservation of moving images
