El análisis y valoración del libro de Antonio Santos Tierras de ningún lugar. Utopía y cine sirve de ocasión para pensar en la naturaleza de la reflexión utópica en su versión literaria y en el medio cinematográfico. Un enfoque histórico de las formas literarias llama la atención sobre las diferencias entre lo intrínsecamente utópico y lo satírico. Desde el punto de vista de la historia de los modos de representación en el cine, la narración clásica dificulta el estatismo moral del discurso utópico, mientras que la narración manierista y postmoderna retratan una utopía condenada al estatuto de mera ilusión. From the point of view of the history of the ways of performance in the cinema, the classical narrative hinder the moral stillness of utopian discourse, while the mannerist and postmodern narration portrays a utopia condemned to the status of mere illusion.
